October 28, 2008 HAMPTON, Ga. – Currie Pierce drove to a big win late Saturday afternoon in the 20-lap INEX legends car semi-pro feature event at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Pierce, a 16-year-old native of nearby Griffin, Ga., started second, took the lead on lap 3, and led the remainder of the distance in front of a large crowd at Atlanta. “We had a decent car in practice but we weren’t great,” Pierce said. “We really needed some more grip after practice but I told my crew chief to leave it alone and we’ll run it like it is.” Read More.. |
